Senior Climate Finance Specialist, IFC
Working to mobilize climate finance to support a private sector green transition, Berit Lindholdt-Lauridsen is an expert in climate-related investment risks and opportunities. Berit anchors IFC’s green finance program and works to develop and scale the green finance market. She has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Green Bond Principles since 2014, and in 2019 she was seconded to ICMA supporting a broader sustainable finance agenda. Prior to joining IFC in 2007, Ms Lindholdt-Lauridsen served as Chief Advisor at the Danish Export Credit Agency, Eksport Kredit Fonden EKF, responsible for EKF’s E&S policy and risk management. She has also been underwriter of political risks at MIGA, and external lecturer at Copenhagen Business School. She has a MSc in Economics and holds more than 25 years in finance.
