Over twenty years of work experience in media and development in Africa and South Africa. A multimedia journalist by training, Orderson has spent a decade reporting from conflict zones in Africa based in Dakar, Senegal before moving back to South Africa to work in different media newsrooms. Her work for The Africa Report, Aljazeera English, Turkish Radio and Television, IPS, Economist TV, The Guardian, Vrye Weekblad, the South African Broadcasting Corporation, among others, took her to places like Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, China, Bangladesh, the Democratic Republic of Congo. Orderson is currently the host of the Africa Report on the biggest talk radio station, 702 in Johannesburg reporting on major political, economic and cultural events happening on the continent. Orderson is a former Regional editor for the Africa Report and The Africareport.com and is currently working as a News editor for a leading South African broadcaster based in Johannesburg.
