Dr. Towela Nyirenda-Jere works in the Economic Integration Division at the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) as a Principal Programme Officer focusing on policy, legal and regulatory aspects of infrastructure and services. She currently leads the Division in an acting capacity. She is an electrical engineer with 20 years’ experience working in the private sector, academia and currently in international development.
