Mr. Aboubaker OMAR HADI is the Chairman of Djibouti Ports & Free Zones Authority and Great Horn Investment Holding.

DPFZA, the sole administrative interface in free zones, has therefore established an environment conductive to business, where investors can find a complete range of services with the DPFZA’s One Stop Shop (Visas, permits etc.) and state-of-the-art infrastructures to fit their activities.

GHIH is playing a central role in transforming Djibouti into a major economic hub for East Africa. GHIH holds the key assets in maritime, aviation and logistics sectors.

The Chairman holds degrees from Le Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Le Havre, France, on Ports & Multimodal Transport and the World Maritime University of Sweden, Master on Ports & Shipping Administration. He’s a member of The UK’s Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) that was granted its Royal Charter in 1926.
