Aminata NDIAYE NIANG is Deputy CEO of the Sonatel Group and Senior VP Regional Cluster at Orange Middle East & Africa.One of Senegal’s leading companies and one of the largest market capitalizations on the BRVM (Abidjan’s Regional Securities Exchange), Sonatel operates in Senegal, Mali, Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, Sierra Leone and Benin under delegated management.Orange Middle East & Africa’s footprint covers 18 countries in Africa & the Middle East. Co-opted into a program dedicated to Talents, Aminata joined the Orange Group in Paris in 2004. Aminata holds a double graduation from the Ecole Polytechnique de Paris and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Paris and began her career at Accenture in change management. At the end of 2018, she led the consolidation of Orange Middle East & Africa’s marketing, customer experience and digital transformation activities, becoming Senior VP of Marketing, Digital & Customer Experience coordinating 18 countries representing 135 million customers and more than 6 billion
euros in revenue. In this capacity, in conjunction with the country teams, she manages revenue budget issues
with achievements beyond the assigned objectives making Orange Middle East & Africa the Orange group’s leading growth zone; She also manages transformation programs to adapt the organization to disruptions in the ecosystem. As part of the region’s digital and data transformation program, she has launched 2 Data Squads based in Jordan and Ivory Coast which rely on local talents to implement
innovative and value-creating solutions using data & AI.
