Dr. Yvan BUTERA

Dr. Yvan Butera, is the Rwandan Minister of State in the Ministry of Health since November 2022. He has over 5 years of experience in leadership in the Rwandan health care sector. Previously, he served as the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Human Resources for Health Secretariat, overseeing health care workforce capacity-building and development. Prior to that he worked as a physician at various district and university teaching hospitals in Rwanda since graduating from the University of Rwanda
