He is in charge of Eni’s global oil & gas exploration, development and production activities, as well as gas and LNG portfolio, sustainable development, Carbon Capture Storage and Utilization, forestry and agri-feedstock projects. Since July 2023, he has also been President of Confindustria Energia, the Italian federation that gathers associations within the energy sector, and since December 2021, he has been a board member of the company Vår Energi, which is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
