Mr. Amadou Oury Bah, Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea, is a seminal figure in Guinea’s political and economic landscape. Born in Pita in 1958, he has effectively combined a robust education in pure mathematics and economic analysis with a career dedicated to national reconciliation and the economic and social development of Guinea. Distinguished by his skills in economic management and enlightened leadership across various political structures, Mr. Bah represents a new era of governance focused on administrative efficiency and political stability. His ability to navigate the complexities of political dialogue and economic challenges, while promoting an inclusive and transparent approach,
serves as a model for the region.

Politically, Mr. Amadou Oury Bah began his journey by cofounding the Union of Democratic Forces of Guinea (UFDG) in
1991, marking the start of a career deeply committed to democracy and the development of Guinea. In 2008, he was appointed Minister of National Reconciliation, Solidarity, and
Relations with Institutions, a role in which he played a crucial part in fostering peace and social cohesion during a critical moment in the country’s history. The period of Mr. Amadou Oury Bah as a political exile from 2011 to 2016 is a testament to his
unwavering commitment to democracy in Guinea. Forced to live outside his native country due to his bold stands against political injustices, his exile in France was characterized by profound reflection and continued engagement in Guinea’s political and social reform. This challenging chapter in his life only strengthened his resolve to work for peace and national
reconciliation, helping to shape his political vision upon his return to Guinea, thereby positioning him as a key figure in the country’s democratic transformation process.Continuing to ascend the political ladder, he took on the presidency of the Union of
Democrats for the Renaissance of Guinea (UDRG) in 2020, further solidifying his profile as a political leader committed to democratic renewal. From 2022 to 2024, he was an active
member of various national committees, including the Technical Commission of the National Assizes and the National Committee of the National Assizes, contributing to significant political and social reforms.

His expertise and dedication reached a pinnacle with his appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea in 2024, from which position he continues to work for the advancement
and stability of the nation.
