Simon KARIKARI
CEO, Vodacom Mozambique
Born in Ghana, Simon holds a Bachelor of Accountancy by the University of Botswana, having vast experience performing financial roles within healthcare and telecommunications sectors. He worked in the UK Specialist Hospitals, an independent sector healthcare company during 04 years, as Head of Finance and Reporting. In the telecommunications portefolio he worked at PhonesU, a mobile phone retailer in the United Kingdom and at Millicom Tigo, a company in Tanzania with over 13.5 million registered subscribers. Simon joined Millicom Tigo in 2013 as Director of Finance and four years later he was promoted as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. Currently he is Vodacom Mozambique Chief Executive Officer since January 2022.
