Sylvain KLUBA
Regional Managing Director Middle East and Africa, Ceva Logistics
Sylvain is an experienced logistics leader, who has worked at country management level, regional level and globally over a 28-year career in the logistics industry in the Middle East and Africa region. Having spent over 20 years in Africa in leadership roles, including as CEO GIL Africa with Agility, Sylvain has an in-depth understanding of logistics and supply chain challenges and opportunities on the continent.
Sylvain joined CEVA in May 2022 as Managing Director, Africa, where he contributed to developing and structuring CEVA’s footprint and service offering on the African continent.
He was one of the key players heading CEVA’s expansion in Africa over the past few years, where CEVA’s footprint increased from a direct presence in only a handful of countries to over 25 countries on the continent.
Sylvain has been at the helm of multiple mergers and acquisitions, and he led networking expansion throughout his two decades long tenure in Africa. His thorough understanding of Africa’s logistics business environment spans multiple products (freight forwarding, ground & rail transportation, warehousing & contract logistics, out-of-gauge cargo etc).
Sylvain took over the role of MEA Chief Finance Officer in 2023. In 2024 Sylvain was appointed to serve as Regional Managing Director for CEVA, MEA. Sylvain’s role at CEVA Logistics is multifaceted and pivotal to the company’s success. In his capacity as MEA RMD, Sylvain plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing regional strategy.
