Dr Sylvia Vito is a seasoned C-suite business executive with a medical professional background and in-depth 20 years of experience in Healthcare Leadership across the African Cluster. She currently serves as the AFRICA HEAD Sub Sahara Africa & Frontier Markets at Eva PHARMA INTERNATIONAL, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company in the EMEA region.
She has worked extensively in the Healthcare & Pharma industry leading Africa in several capacities to drive commercial & Infrastructural developments, investments in healthcare systems, strengthening & portfolio performance and community investments around Communicable, Non-Communicable diseases and Vaccines.
The healthcare environment in Africa is changing at a rapid pace. Impacted by a fast, young growing population, lifestyle choices and environmental contributions, this means that Africa will continue to experience increasing pressures on an already fragile healthcare system. Sylvia believes that the Private Sector and Industry players should be able to not only support in building more resilient healthcare systems, but through concerted efforts make a meaningful, tangible, efficient and sustainable shift in Africa.
Sylvia is passionate about social Impact initiatives driving Access to Quality Health, access to Education, last mile capacity building, Youth empowerment and disruptive innovative solutions for Africa’s development.
At the heart of her personal values is her commitment to leave no one behind and that includes the Refugees, displaced persons, differently abled members of our society, plus other marginalised communities in the future of industries.
