Tihitina, with over 24 years of experience, leads WARYT Mulutila International Plc, a thriving Ethiopian family furniture manufacturing and retailing business with 250 employees. As Managing Director, she has successfully implemented the country’s import substitution vision, fostering local production.
Born in Addis Ababa, Tihitina holds a Psychology degree and an MBA. She returned to her family business in 2004 after gaining international experience. Beyond WARYT, she actively contributes to various boards and is an IFC Certified Corporate Governance trainer.
Established in 1989, WARYT, a family-owned company, boasts a network of seven showrooms and three independent entities. They employ over 250 people and operate three factories strategically located in Ethiopia. WARYT aspires to expand to different regions of Africa and be a trusted and quality furniture exporter by 2030.
