Alioune Ndiaye

Chief Executive Officer, Middle East and Africa, Orange

Alioune Ndiaye joined Sonatel, in 1988, in audit and management control functions before becoming Chief Financial Officer. In 2002, he was appointed director of Ikatel in Mali where he was involved in the launch of Orange Mali. Ten years later, he returned to Sonatel as Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Sonatel Mobile. In 2018, he became Chief Executive Officer of Orange Middle East & Africa, making him the first African to ever hold this key position within the firm.
