Ojunekwu Augustine Avuru

Ojunekwu Augustine Avuru was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Seplat Petroleum Development Company in May 2010. He started his career working for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), where he spent 12 years. He then joined Allied Energy Resources, where he worked for ten years as Exploration Manager and Technical Manager. As a member of the National Committee on Local Content Development, he chaired the technical subcommittee that drafted the policy blueprint which then became the Nigerian Content Act of 2010.
