Regional Director of Africa Global Logistics (AGL), for the Côte d’Ivoire Burkina Faso region, since December 2023, Asta Rosa CISSE also holds the position of Managing Director of AGL Côte d’Ivoire and Abidjan Terminal. 

Present within the AGL group since 2002, she has gradually climbed the ladder through her work and perseverance. She successively moved from the position of Administrative and Financial Director in 2007, to that of Secretary General in 2011, then Deputy General Manager in 2016, before reaching the position of General Manager of Abidjan Terminal, the flagship of the Ivorian port industry, in 2018.

The first woman to reach the position of Regional Director within the AGL group, Mrs. ASTA ROSA CISSE quickly distinguished herself thanks to her performance in operational management and her high sense of team management.

However, she began her career in 1998 by joining Syngenta, a subsidiary of the Novartis group, as Chief Financial Officer.

Asta Rosa Cisse, an Ivorian national, holds a postgraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from ESG/Paris. 

She also holds a DESCF from INTEC/ Paris and is a graduate of the Executive PMD of IESE Business School Barcelona/MDE Business School. 

In 2019, Mrs. ASTA-ROSA CISSE was elevated to the rank of Knight of the Order of Maritime Merit of Côte d’Ivoire thanks to her skills and leadership.
