Aurelie Ilimatou ADAM SOULE ZOUMAROU is a professional in the digital sector, currently serving in the beninese government as Minister of Digital Technology and Digitization, having held this position since October 2017 while she was at the GSMA. She is committed to coordinating stakeholders and institutional actors contributing to Benin’s digital transformation, accelerating public policies essential to the effective implementation of the government’s digital projects, and uncovering a vibrant and dynamic ecosystem—an ecosystem she mobilized in 2023 to develop Benin’s national artificial intelligence strategy.
Telecoms & ICT Engineer, graduate of Telecom Sud Paris, and holder of a Certificate in Public Policy Management and Leadership from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University (New York). She began her professional career with SFR in Paris where she worked on aspects related to quality of service, before joining ACCENTURE France as an Information Systems consultant, then ARCEP BENIN, where she mainly dealt with issues related to radiocommunications.
