Éric Melet has over 30 years of international experience in transportation and logistics. As the CEO of Railways & International Logistics at AGL, he oversees the expansion of AGL’s international logistics network and manages the company’s strategic rail concessions in Africa.

A graduate of ESG Paris and holder of an MBA in International Trade, Éric began his career in the Logistics Department at Shell. In 1990, he joined Africa Global Logistics, where he managed petroleum logistics in the Republic of Congo before overseeing the South/North traffic for the shipping company Delmas in Paris. He then moved to Long Beach, USA, where he directed Reefer traffic for the shipping company Australia New Zealand Direct Line (ANZDL).

From 2000 to 2005, Éric Melet was the General Manager of AGL’s transport and logistics subsidiary in Cameroon. Subsequently, he held the positions of Director of Operations, then General Manager in charge of development and concessions at AGL’s headquarters before becoming the CEO of Railways & International Logistics.
