Mr. Gérard Kouassi, born on February 21, 1959 in Toumodi (Côte d’Ivoire), is a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Travaux Publics (ENSTP) in Yamoussoukro. With over 30 years of experience in the public works sector, he has held several senior management positions at major companies such as Bouygues Côte d’Ivoire, COLAS, Sogea Satom, and GAUFF Engineering, across various West and Central African countries.

Since 2015, he has been the CEO of PORTEO BTP, where he leverages his expertise to position the company as one of the leading construction firms in Côte d’Ivoire.

Alongside his professional career, Mr. Kouassi was an international handball player and is currently President of Côte d’Ivoire’s top handball club. He also holds a degree in integral coaching and is currently preparing a doctoral thesis in the field.
