Hendrik brings with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, spanning over three decades. 
His journey with Danone commenced in 1991 in Germany, where he honed his sales acumen. 
Over the years, he has held various commercial leadership roles, demonstrating his ability to drive growth and deliver results.
In 2003, Born expanded his international footprint by taking on the role of Commercial Director for AlSafi in Saudi Arabia. 
His subsequent appointment as General Manager for Sahar Iran in 2006 marked a significant milestone in his career. 
Born’s strategic leadership and business acumen continued to be instrumental in his subsequent roles within Danone, culminating in his appointment as General Manager for South Africa in 2017.
After a brief sabbatical in Germany, during which he served as a Business Consultant, Born returned to Danone as General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa with renewed energy and a deep understanding of the South African market.
