Louise Margolin is the deputy editor-in-chief of Africa Business+, the premier digital business information service dedicated to decision-makers working with Africa, part of Jeune Afrique Media Group. She also leads the coverage of the mining sector at Jeune Afrique Media Group. She writes about the largest mining companies in Africa, major deals on the continent, impacts of the energy transition, and the intersection between mining and geopolitics. She also covers infrastructure, logistics and energy. 

Before joining Africa Business+, Louise was the deputy editor-in-chief of the investigative media Africa Intelligence. She was also associate director in the business intelligence department of Control Risks, covered the oil and gas sector in Egypt from Cairo, and worked in embassies in Mali and Eritrea. A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, and also studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
