Nglan LEKE NIAT

Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Dangote Industries

Nglan leke-Niat is the Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Dangote Industries Limited, where she leads HR strategies across 14 countries and a workforce of over 30,000 employees.

Before joining Dangote, Nglan spent 19 years with SLB (formerly Schlumberger), where she held Executive roles across Africa, Canada, the USA, and France. 

These experiences have solidified her expertise in global HR management, spearheading initiatives in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development, successfully navigating complex international environments. Her proficiency in compensation and benefits, HR integration during mergers and acquisitions, and diversity and inclusion initiatives has positioned her as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on human capital matters.

In addition, Nglan is committed to mentoring emerging leaders and is actively involved in initiatives focused on education and empowerment. 

Nglan holds an MBA in HR Management from HEC Montreal and an MSc in Microbiology from Laval University. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) . She is also a member of Women Corporate Directors (WCD) and of Gaia Africa Women’s Club. She sits on the Board of the African Leadership University.

Nglan is fluent in English and French.
