Oswald LOUÉKÉ

Chairman of the Board of Directors, OGL HOLDING LTD

Oswald Louéké is a Beninese entrepreneur with a rich and multifaceted background, recognized for his expertise in finance, telecommunications, agro-industry, real estate, and textiles. A graduate of the Institut National Polytechnique Félix Houphouët-Boigny (INP-HB) in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire, he began his career in information technology by founding Réseau Telecoms in 2001, a bimonthly pan-African media outlet focused on the telecom sector. He also launched the Africa Telecom People event, which he led for thirteen years.

In 2010, he created TELSIG, a company specializing in digital regulation, and in 2012, he founded OGL Holding, a multi-sector group operating across Africa and beyond, with interests in telecommunications, real estate, oil & gas, and private equity. In 2014, he joined the board of BGFIBank Bénin, serving as chairman from 2019 to 2024.

In 2017, he launched Novarea SA, an agro-industrial company based in the industrial zone of Yamoussoukro, focused on cashew processing. Today, Novarea SA stands as one of the most well-designed and beautiful cashew processing plants. Building on this experience, he is now preparing to replicate this industrial model in Benin by setting up a similar cashew processing unit with the same level of ambition.

In line with this broader vision, he is also preparing to launch Novarea Textiles Bénin, a textile manufacturing unit set to become operational in September 2025 in the Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone.
