Philippe OSSOUCAH

Mr. Philippe Jr. Ossoucah is a trained engineer and holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal. He has 20 years of experience in the development and financing of energy generation and transmission projects across Africa.
He currently leads Gabon Power Company (GPC), a company founded by the Fonds Gabonais d’Investissements Stratégiques (FGIS), which engages the private sector in the development, financing, and implementation of PPP projects in Gabon, particularly in the electricity and water sectors.
GPC’s development portfolio includes investments in three (3) hydropower plants, two (2) gas-fired thermal power plants, and a drinking water production facility, with total investments estimated at over one billion US dollars.
Currently, two projects are under construction, with groundbreaking for a third power plant scheduled for 2025.
