Sindé Chekete serves as Advisor to the President of the Republic of Benin and holds dual leadership roles as CEO of the Benin Investment and Export Promotion Agency (APIEx) and the Benin Tourism Agency. With over two decades of international experience, he has held senior positions at Deloitte, Sanofi Genzyme, and bioMérieux, overseeing strategic operations across North America, Europe, Latin America and Africa. 

In Benin, he is driving an ambitious agenda to enhance the country’s economic appeal, boost export performance, and elevate its global tourism positioning. 

A graduate of HEC Montréal and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the University of Illinois, he brings a strong track record in strategic management and economic development to advance Benin’s international visibility and long-term transformation.
