A recognized expert in the energy sector, before to be appointed as CEO of ONEE by His Majesty the King, may God bless Him, Mr Tarik Hamane was previously the Acting CEO of “Masen Group”.

He was Vice President at TOTAL Energies in charge of worldwide green hydrogen development activities. He was also Managing Director of TOTAL Eren’s subsidiaries in North Africa.

Throughout his career, Mr. Tarik Hamane has held several high-level positions, including Director of the Development Division at “Masen Group”, Director of Production Projects and Programs at National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water “ONEE”, and Manager of the Electricity, Water.

Mr. Hamane began his professional career as an engineer in research and development at the National Center for Scientific Research “CNRS” in France and the European Organization for Nuclear Research “CERN” in Geneva.

Mr. Tarik Hamane serves as the President of the Arab Union of Electricity, Governor of the World Water Council, and Vice President of the African Water and Sanitation Association. 

Mr. Tarik Hamane is an engineer in Electrical and Automation Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Lyon, France “INSA”.
