Pan-African Champion Award

The “Pan-African Champion” award highlights the role of the private sector in the field of economic integration. It rewards an African company whose involvement throughout the continent has increased the most, specifically by increasing its presence in several regions, and that implements a consistent and coherent regional expansion strategy.

Gagnant 2024 : Africa Finance Corporation (AFC)

Eligible candidates

Any African company with a minimum revenue of 50 million euros and present in more than 5 African countries. 

Submission is either by application, nomination by a third party (company or individual) or identification by the Africa CEO Forum editorial team.

Criteria

  • Number of African countries where the company is present.
  • Number of subsidiaries created in Africa over the past year (excluding country of origin).
  • Number of jobs created in Africa over the past year (excluding country of origin).
  • Share of total revenues generated in Africa over the past year (excluding country of origin).
  • Level of increase (in %) in revenue generated in Africa over the past year (excluding country of origin).
  • Pan-African expansion strategy: key strategy components and level of achievement versus what remains to be done.
