2019 EDITION

The seventh AFRICA CEO FORUM took place in Kigali on March 25 and 26, 2019, entitled “From continental treaties to business realities”. Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda, Felix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sahle-Work Zewde, President of Ethiopia and Faure Gnassingbé, President of Togo were among our guests of honor.

2018 EDITION

The sixth AFRICA CEO FORUM took place in Abidjan on March 26 and 27, 2018. Entitled “African champions: powering competitiveness,” the program emphasized the growth opportunities provided by tech revolutions. This event was marked by the participation of three African presidents: Alassane Ouattara of Côte d’Ivoire, Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe, and Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana.

2017 EDITION

The fifth AFRICA CEO FORUM was held in Geneva on March 20 and 21, 2017. Entitled “Reinventing the African business model,” this edition’s program highlighted the need to liberate the innovation and entrepreneurial energy of young people and women. This event was marked by the presence of two African presidents: Macky Sall of Senegal and Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana.

2016 EDITION

The fourth AFRICA CEO FORUM was held in Africa for the first time on March 21 and 22, 2016, in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. One week after the terrorist attacks in the coastal city of Grand-Bassam, it was important for the organizers to ensure that the event would take place as scheduled. Entitled “New reality, new priorities,” this edition’s program highlighted the various development strategies needed by the African private sector in order to prove its solidity in a global economic environment in crisis.

2012, 2014 AND 2015 EDITIONS

The first three editions of the AFRICA CEO FORUM were held in 2012, 2014 and 2015 in Geneva. The themes « African enterprise at the heart of discussions », « The private sector: driving force of economic transformation » and « Africa’s new economic environment » have marked each edition.
