CEO, Pharma 5 Laboratoires

Married and mother of two boys, Mia Lahlou-Filali comes from a dual Moroccan-Austrian culture. She was born in 1973 in Morocco, where she grew up.

She attended the Lycée Français de Casablanca (Lycée Lyautey), graduating with honors in 1991.

She then decided to pursue her higher education in Paris, France, and graduated with a double degree: Sciences-Po Paris, Section Economique et Financière / Université Paris IX-Dauphine, Maitrise des Sciences de Gestion (MSG).

After 10 years in the International Perfumes and Cosmetics Marketing Department of the LVMH Group in Paris (world leader in luxury goods), she decided in January 2012 to join the family business and became General Manager of the Pharma 5 Group in Casablanca.

Founded in 1985 by her father, Dr Abdallah LAHLOU-FILALI, the Pharma 5 laboratory is one of Africa’s leading groups in the development and production of generic medicines.

Its mission is to make medicines available to as many patients as possible, in compliance with the highest international quality standards.

Pharma 5 is the best-selling Moroccan brand in Morocco and Africa.
