Philippe LABONNE

Philippe Labonne began his career in 1989 as a consultant with Price Water House Coopers (PWC). In 1993, he joined Sitarail, one of the Bolloré Group’s African rail concessions, as Deputy Managing Director before holding other managerial positions within the Group, both in France and in Africa.
In 2015, Philippe Labonne was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Bolloré Transport and Logistics, following the merger of all the Group’s global port and logistics activities. At the same time, he assumed the role of Bolloré Ports and Bolloré Africa Logistics Chief executive officer.
Since December 2022, following the sale of the Bolloré Group’s African logistics activities to the MSC Group, Philippe Labonne is the CEO of the AGL Group (Africa Global Logistics), the leading multimodal operator in Africa.
Born in 1966, Philippe Labonne graduated from Sup de Co Amiens in 1989,

Graduate of Sup de Co Amiens in 1989, Philippe Labonne began his career the same year as a consultant at Price Water House Coopers (PWC). A few years later, in 1993, he joined Sitarail, one of the Bolloré Group’s African railway concessions, as Deputy Managing Director before holding other managerial positions within the Group, both in France and in Africa.
In 2015, Philippe Labonne was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Bolloré Transport and Logistics, following the merger of all the Group’s global port and logistics activities. He was also Chairman of Bolloré Ports and Bolloré Africa Logistics until December 2022, when Bolloré Transport & Logistics sold its subsidiary Bolloré Africa Logistics to the MSC Group.
Since then, Philippe Labonne is the CEO of AGL (Africa Global Logistics), the company resulting from this sale.
