Faustina Fynn-Nyame, currently serving as the Executive Director for Africa at CIFF (Children’s Investment Fund Foundation), embarked on her journey as a nurse in the UK. Her career trajectory saw her transition from private healthcare management in London to remarkable leadership roles across 25 nations in Africa, Asia, and Latin America in various organizations.
In her current capacity, as Executive Director for Africa at CIFF, Faustina spearheads the foundation’s continental strategy, fosters key partnerships across the African continent, and manages CIFF’s investment portfolio in the region.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Faustina is a passionate advocate for women’s and girls’ rights. She has played a pivotal role in driving policy changes to improve access to reproductive health services in both West and East Africa. Moreover, she firmly believes in empowering the girl child through enhanced health, education, and economic opportunities, envisioning a thriving and self-determining Africa.
Faustina’s commitment to nurturing future leaders is evident in her advocacy efforts and mentorship initiatives. Her impactful contributions to the field have earned her recognition, including being named among the Top 100 influential African women in 2021 by Advance Media.
