Jean-Philippe GILLET

SVP Global Sales Media & Networks , Intelsat

Jean-Philippe Gillet leads Intelsat’s global sales organization; in addition, he oversees Intelsat’s Media, Mobility and Networks businesses, with responsibilities for developing and executing the company’s global broadband strategy and solutions.

Mr. Gillet previously served as Intelsat’s GM and Vice President for the Networks Business Unit from 2017 to 2019, as Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa from 2014 to 2017, as Intelsat’s Vice President of Sales for Europe and the Middle East From 2006 to 2013 and as Intelsat’s Vice President of Media Sales from 2003 to 2006. In these roles, he successfully grew Intelsat’s business with telecommunications service providers and broadcasters, regularly exceeding revenue and backlog targets.

Prior to joining Intelsat in 2003, Mr. Gillet spent five years with Globecast North America (France Telecom Group) as Vice President of International Sales and Director of Sales for Europe, the Middle East and North America. He began his career at Orange as a sales and marketing manager.

Mr. Gillet earned a Master of Science degree in information technology from SKEMA Business School and a Bachelor’s in computer science at the Ecole Superieure d’Informatique Engineering School, located in France.
