Ashvin joined MCB in 2014 and currently oversees the Bank’s coverage businesses, including Global & International Corporates, Mauritian & Regional Corporates, and the Financial Institutions Group, as well as MCB’s international offices in South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Dubai, and Paris. He also leads the Global Transactional Banking team.

Before taking up his current role, Ashvin headed the Global and International Corporate Banking business. He previously worked with another commercial bank in Mauritius, Morgan Stanley in London within the Institutional Securities and Commodities division, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in London.

He is a CFA Charter holder and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Ashvin holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
