Dany Abboud is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in Nigeria’s dynamic construction and infrastructure sector. Serving as the Managing Director of Hitech Construction Company Limited (Hitech), one of Nigeria’s leading construction firms, he has earned a reputation for his strategic leadership, technical expertise, and operational excellence across a wide range of large-scale civil works.

Throughout his career, Dany has been instrumental in securing, managing, and delivering landmark infrastructure projects across Nigeria, including major highways, urban roads, bridges, shore protection works, and complex drainage systems. In his current role, Dany oversees numerous large-scale projects each year, leading a diverse team of over 1,500 local engineers, technicians, and craftsmen, alongside 50 expatriate specialists. He also manages a fleet of more than 2,500 heavy-duty machines and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization, cost efficiency, and timely project delivery.

Beyond technical management, Dany is deeply involved in corporate strategy, business development, and stakeholder relations, playing a central role in negotiating major contracts and partnerships with both public and private sector clients. His leadership is marked by a forward-thinking approach that embraces innovation and capacity building, fostering a strong culture of performance and accountability within his teams.

Dany graduated from the University of Balamand, Lebanon in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Civil Engineering), followed by a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the same University in 2000.
