Max Müller has been active in the healthcare industry both nationally and internationally for 25 years. Since 2023, he leads the Global Public Affairs division at Bayer AG and is a member of the Global Public Affairs & Sustainability Leadership Team. From 2020 to 2023, he headed Corporate Public Affairs for Germany and Europe.
In May 2025, he became a member of the Council of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany and co-chair of the German-Brazilian Agribusiness Initiative within the Latin America Committee of German Business. He is also a member of the executive board of the Africa Association of German Business. In these international roles, he actively shapes economic and political cooperation and promotes strategic partnerships in global markets.
Before joining Bayer AG, he held the position of Chief Strategy Officer and member of the Board of Directors at DocMorris for seven years. Prior to that, he led Corporate 
Communications department and the Berlin office of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG in 2012. In 2008, he was Head of External Affairs at the Berlin office of Celesio AG.
After studying law, Max Müller worked as consultant for the German Parliament as well as a management consultant with focus on health industry.
