Ramah NYANG

Journalist, Bloomberg/CGTN

Ramah Nyang, 38, has two decades of experience covering business and economic developments across Africa, interviewing chief executives, heads of state, and key policy makers.

He has broken a range of stories, including – most recently – the Kenyan state’s intent to break up East Africa’s biggest listed firm in December 2025. His work includes assessing how a volatile geopolitical environment and fast-changing trade policies are nudging African firms and policy makers to divest from US Dollar exposure, while raising intra-Africa trade flows. Detailed reporting on the world-beating performance of frontier stock markets, changes in monetary policy and the evolution of tax policy, are regular parts of his coverage.

His work can be found on Bloomberg, and on  China Global Television Network (CGTN), where he’s an anchor and reporter for the channel’s week day Africa-focused business program
