Saloshni Pillay joined Deutsche Bank South Africa as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Country Officer in South Africa, and as General Manager of Deutsche Bank AG Johannesburg Branch. She also leads Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking efforts across Sub-Sahara Africa.

With more than 25 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Saloshni has held senior leadership roles across major financial institutions. Her career includes positions in Product Sales, Structuring, Risk Management and Coverage at Absa, Barclays, Citi and Standard Bank.

Saloshni holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialisation in Economics from the University of South Africa and has completed executive leadership programmes at Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
