The AFRICA CEO FORUM has been engaged in promoting African women’s leadership.
ABOUT OUR INITIATIVE
A true high point of the Forum since 2016, each year, the Women in Business initiative brings together 250 of the most influential women leaders in Africa. Through high level panels, inspiring testimonials, and networking sessions, the Women in Business initiative aims to increase the representation of women in decision-making roles across the continent, with the firm belief that women leaders of today and tomorrow are one of the keys to Africa’s economic development.
OUR 3 MAIN PROJECTS
Women on Board: A project which aims to facilitate the inclusion of African women on boards of directors
The annual Women in Business Leadership Meeting: The first edition of this meeting took place in Paris on 2 and 3 July 2018 and was attended by close to 200 influential women leaders from 32 countries.
The Women in Business Network: This first regional network of influence dedicated exclusively to facilitating interaction between women business leaders in Africa was established following the first Women in Business Leadership Meeting. The network is made up of six regions managed by two women leaders. Each region will organize quarterly networking events and launch one flagship initiative to support women’s leadership.
