Dr. Souleymane Diarrassouba holds an Executive PhD from Paris Dauphine University – PSL and currently serves as Minister of Planning and Development of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. He is also Chairman of the Board of the think tank Africa Perspectives Institute (API), Member of Parliament for the Commune of Yamoussoukro, and Commander of the National Order of Côte d’Ivoire.

Previously, Dr. Diarrassouba served as Minister of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire. He also chaired the Board of Directors of the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI).

Throughout his career, he has held several senior leadership positions in the banking and insurance sectors, including Chief Executive Officer of a banking and insurance group, as well as Chairman of the Boards of multiple banking institutions and insurance companies.

He also served as Vice-President of the Ivorian Employers’ Association, President of the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Côte d’Ivoire (APBEF-CI), and President of the Federation of Professional Associations of Banks and Financial Institutions of WAEMU (FAPBEF-UEMOA).
