Due to the low penetration of the banking system in Africa, Mobile Money has grown significantly and many digital services have emerged (mobile payment, money transfer, micro insurance, bills payment, etc.). According to GSMA, more than 60 % of transactions are done through point of sales. Intouch provides to merchants with a universal solution that allows them, on the one hand, to accept all means of payment (mobile money, credit card, cash and vouchers) and, on the other hand, to offer a large catalog of digital services (airtime, mobile money cash in and cash out, money transfer, insurance, bill payment and subscriptions …) via a single device. Intouch helps also SMEs and corporates to collect payment. Intouch solution is currently used by more than 50 000 point of sales (hairstyling salons, pharmacy, neighborhood shops, etc.) and more than 3 000 SMEs and corporates. The platform now records more than 150 million transactions per year representing more than 3 billion euros.
