Farid Fezoua is Director of Equity, Funds, and Venture Capital and Creative Industries at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group. He leads IFC’s strategy and investments across private equity and venture capital in emerging markets, developing bankable projects, expanding financing for creative businesses, and supporting enabling policies. Farid brings over 30 years of experience in financial services, private equity and leadership. Previously, he served as IFC’s Global Director of Disruptive Technologies & Funds and as President and CEO of GE Africa. He has also held leadership roles on several U.S.-Africa advisory councils.
