Hanae Ben Driss is the Managing Director of Switch Al Maghrib, overseeing the Financial Market Infrastructure for electronic payments authorization, clearing and settlement in Morocco. She joined HPS Switch in January 2022, bringing over 25 years of financial services and electronic payment experience as a senior executive at various national and international payment companies. 

After managing several projects at Société Générale, Hanae transitioned in 2001 to contribute to the inception of the Centre Monétique Interbancaire (CMI), launching the largest merchant acquirer and establishing national interoperability in Morocco. In 2005, she took on the responsibility of developing Visa International activity in French-speaking Africa and managed the launch of Visa electronic payment activities for GIM-UEMOA in West Africa, GIMAC in Central Africa, and GIMTEL in Mauritania. 

Since joining HPS Group in 2009 and holding various leadership roles, including Deputy Managing Director at HPS Processing, Hanae actively contributed to achieving the Switching acquisition and the launch of the SaaS activity, accomplishing significant business development and market share growth.

Currently, Hanae is responsible of developing the National Switch, leveraging Morocco’s ambition to develop electronic payments, promote financial inclusion and enable innovative payments. 

She holds a master’s degree from the Mohammadia School of Engineering and has completed an executive education program at INSEAD.
