Mary-Ann Kirubi Musangi is an accomplished African entrepreneur and business leader with over 25 years of experience across the advertising, banking, hospitality, and FMCG sectors in African markets. As the Managing Director of HACO Industries, she has helped drive the company’s growth into a purpose-driven African manufacturing brand focused on innovation, sustainability, and regional impact.

She champions renewable energy, sustainable packaging, and inclusive economic growth through local manufacturing, job creation, and women and youth empowerment. Mary-Ann has received several awards recognizing her leadership from the Kenya Association of Manufacturers, including the Woman Industrialist of the Year Award at the 2025 Women in Manufacturing Awards, as well as recognition in the Woman Executive of the Year and ESG Leadership categories — reflecting her ambition to build globally competitive African enterprises.

She also serves on the board of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers and on the boards of SMART Applications International Limited, United Nations Global Compact, and Tiny Totos Kenya Limited.

Mary-Ann Kirubi Musangi est une entrepreneure africaine accomplie et une dirigeante d’entreprise comptant plus de 25 ans d’expérience dans les secteurs de la publicité, de la banque, de l’hôtellerie et des biens de grande consommation (FMCG) sur les marchés africains. En tant que Directrice Générale de HACO Industries, elle a contribué à faire de l’entreprise une marque africaine de fabrication guidée par une mission, axée sur l’innovation, la durabilité et l’impact régional.

Elle est une fervente promotrice des énergies renouvelables, des emballages durables et de la croissance économique inclusive à travers la fabrication locale, la création d’emplois ainsi que l’autonomisation des femmes et des jeunes. Mary-Ann a reçu plusieurs distinctions saluant son leadership, notamment le prix de Femme Industrielle de l’Année lors des Women in Manufacturing Awards 2025, ainsi qu’une reconnaissance comme Femme Dirigeante de l’Année et pour son leadership ESG.

Elle siège également au conseil d’administration de Kenya Association of Manufacturers ainsi qu’aux conseils de SMART Applications International Limited, United Nations Global Compact et Tiny Totos Kenya Limited.
