Co-Founder & CEO, TradeDepot Inc.
Chief Executive Officer, Africa Trade Engine (ATE)
Profile:
Onyekachi (Kachi) Izukanne is the Co-Founder & CEO of TradeDepot and Chief Executive of Africa Trade Engine (ATE). A vision-driven leader building Africa-first supply chains at continental scale, he has 20+ years leading multi-country organisations, shaping cross-border trade corridors, and mobilising public–private partnerships across AfCFTA markets.
At TradeDepot, he built one of Africa’s largest technology-enabled distributor networks, serving 200,000+ retailers across Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa, with expansion underway. Backed by over $100 million from leading global investors, the platform helps brands reach fragmented retail and advances inclusive commerce, digitising growth for a high share of women-owned micro-businesses and formalising last-mile distribution.
At Africa Trade Engine (ATE), Kachi steers strategy, partnerships, and governance to make both African and global consumer brands reliably available across the continent and in key export markets. He drives market access and platform innovation—deploying data-rich, intelligent systems to create clarity, velocity, and trust from origin to shelf—so brands can scale with confidence.
Earlier, Kachi co-founded C2G Consulting, growing it into a leading enterprise-transformation firm delivering complex, multi-country ERP and operating-model programmes for blue-chip clients in FMCG, telecoms, and energy—work that earned industry recognition for quality and impact across Africa. He serves on the boards of ATE, TradeDepot, and C2G, advises several businesses across consumer and technology, and holds a B.Eng in Electronics Engineering from the University of Nigeria.
