Patrick Lawson is the Global Head of Ports and Logistics at Arise IIP. He began his 
career at Arthur Andersen, specialising in the energy and utilities sectors.

Over the past two decades, he has built extensive experience across finance, operations, and general management within the transport and logistics industry, working across Africa, France, and Belgium.

Patrick previously served on the Executive Committee of Bolloré Africa Logistics, where he held the role of Director of Public-Private Partnerships and Mergers & Acquisitions. In this capacity, he successfully led multiple strategic acquisitions across sub-Saharan Africa, including transactions in Gabon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Africa.

He holds several master’s degrees spanning Law, General Management, and Finance, 
as well as postgraduate degrees in Tax Law and Philosophy.
