Dr. Solomon Zewdu serves as CEO of the END Fund, working to end the suffering caused by five neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) affecting 1.7 billion people. The END Fund actively supports NTD programs with dozens of partners across more than 25 countries, with a strong focus on sub-Saharan Africa.

Previously, he developed health engagement strategies at the Mastercard Foundation and led continent-wide health programs at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, including coordinating the COVID-19 response. A U.S. Air Force veteran and former Deputy Director at the Gates Foundation, his experience spans managing large-scale global health initiatives, U.S. government programs (PEPFAR, DHAPP), and philanthropic grantmaking.

He is a published expert and serves on several boards and advisory groups.
