William Sears is the Chief Commercial Officer: Logistics for Africa at DP World. With over 20 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain optimisation, William has developed extensive expertise across various industries and disciplines. His skill set includes logistics management and costing, supply chain optimisation, logistics systems, demand planning, and sales and operations planning. 

William joined Imperial in 2010, where he held several roles over the next 14 years, refining his leadership in logistics and supply chain management. Following Imperial’s acquisition by DP World in March 2022, he was appointed to his current position in March 2024.

William holds a B.Com Degree in Economics from the University of South Africa (UNISA).
