Diana Kouyaté was appointed Managing Director of the Agence de Promotion des investissements Privés (APIP-Guinée) (APIP-Guinea) on 18 February 2022.
She holds a Master’s degree in applied economics from the University of Paris XII and a Bachelor’s degree in economics and management.
She began her career in France, where she acquired over 13 years’ professional experience.
In 2017, she decided to return to Guinea to take up various management positions in different areas of activity, in particular with Gavi Management Partner-Dalberg, where she was recruited as a consultant in charge of developing the leadership, management and coordination capacities of the management teams of the Expanded Programme on Immunisation (EPI), under the aegis of the Ministry of Health, in order to help increase immunisation coverage in Guinea.
In December 2019, she was promoted to Deputy Director General of the Private Investment Promotion Agency (APIP-Guinea), where she was responsible for designing and monitoring the Agency’s general strategy and coordinating its 5 operational departments.
Ms Kouyaté has several years’ experience in project and team management in the health and economic sectors, as well as in private investment promotion. She works on a range of issues relating to strategic positioning and leadership.
