Hannane Ferdjani

Hannane Ferdjani is a bilingual international journalist with 10 years’ experience in the media in Europe, Asia and Africa. During this time, she presented a daily morning show and edited a bi-monthly bilingual magazine for Africanews before a brief stint on Good Morning Europe on Euronews and a year’s fellowship at the Harvard Journalism Foundation in 2019.

During her year at Cambridge, the journalist launched a web series called “Beyond The Noise”, the weekly episodes of which set out to decipher major current affairs issues in Africa and deconstruct the myths and fake news surrounding them. Hannane was France 24’s permanent correspondent for Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana and Liberia in 2021 and 2022.

She is now an independent journalist and freelance reporter for media such as Aljazeera English and Quartz Africa. She also moderates discussions at conferences across the African continent.
