Sadio Dicko

Sadio DICKO holds a Master’s degree in Money and Finance and a Master’s 2 in Financial Management from the University of Paris X. He began his professional career in 2003. He worked as a trader on the European and US interest rate markets at Société Générale’s investment bank (SGIB), and then moved on to several international financial markets until 2008, before taking over responsibility for the bank’s trading activities for 6 years.

For over twenty years, Sadio Dicko has specialised in structuring complex transactions and managing and hedging foreign exchange, interest rate and liquidity risks.

In 2018, he joined PROPARCO’s Finance Department to take charge of the Division in charge of product innovation, financial steering and the financial structuring of projects on the debt market.

In 2023, he was appointed PROPARCO’s Regional Director for West Africa.

Based in Abidjan, the Regional Division covers Benin, Burkina-Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
