Invest In Côte d'Ivoire - Digital Economy
Despite a challenging global economic context, Côte d’Ivoire stands out as an economic powerhouse in the region, with remarkable growth projected at +7.2% in 2023.
An integral part of this dynamism is the rapidly advancing digital sector, expected to grow from $2 billion in 2021 to $5.5 billion by 2025. According to the Google-IFC report “e-Conomy Africa 2020”, this figure could quadruple by 2050 and represent 10% of the Ivorian GDP.
As a result, the country aims to position itself as the digital hub of West Africa and make this key sector the driver of its economic structural transformation. The government has thus adopted a National Digital Strategy (SNCI 2025) with a budget of $3.15 billion, and both the national and foreign private sector are called upon to play their part.
The AFRICA CEO FORUM, in partnership with Ecobank, is organizing the “Invest in Côte d’Ivoire – Digital Economy” online event with the aim of showcasing the investment opportunities offered by the country in this promising sector.
A panel of leading industry actors will discuss the Ivorian digital ecosystem, from its high-potential digital markets to the country’s business-friendly regulatory frameworks. This will be followed by three invitation-only public-private workshops, during which investment opportunities will be highlighted the highly prospective areas of digital infrastructure, the start-up ecosystem and female entrepreneurship.
